Cloud Nothings frontman Dylan Baldi sat down with Pitchfork for their Entrevista series in collaboration with Canal 180. The interview touches on everything from his inspiration for the "Attack on Memory" and "Here and Nowhere Else" album covers (did you know both were photographed by Dylan himself?), his love of jazz music (Battle Trance are a current favourite), and what it's like to continue the band as a trio.
"Playing in a trio is really easy actually, because nobody can hide behind anything, everybody has to be good, and has to believe in what they're doing, or else it sounds... bad."
We'd also like to take a second to co-sign Dylan's love of Cosmos.
Cloud Nothings appear on the line-up for this year's Coachella festival, and have today announced two additional LA and SF appearances. Tickets for both dates go on sale this Friday.
