Nathan Williams of Wavves’ first comic book ‘Negative Dad’ is out now

August 6th 2013

WAVVES first comic book ‘Negative Dad’ is available now! The story of two mutant teenagers on a quest to discover the truth about their father… Written by Nathan Williams and Matt Bahamas, and illustrated by Rudolfo Silva, ‘Negative Dad’ can be purchased over on the official Wavves merch store.

Negative Dad follows the fantastic and disturbing journey of two young mutant boys, Daniel and Serjio, uncovering secrets surrounding their family and friends. This journey ultimately will determine the fate of their world and many others. They live in Verlaine City, a city that once was the center of a scientific revolution, but now a disgusting, dying shadow of its former self. When the boys are visited by beings from another realm, its up to them to discover the truth about their father and his incredible past.

At least they made it out alive. Watch Wavves go skydiving with silly wind-blown faces and popped ears, all to the tune of “Demon To Lean On.”

Oh yeah, and the video serves a purpose too. Stick around to the end and check out the list of Wavves’ upcoming tour dates with Jacuzzi Boys and King Tuff. Gonna be some rowdy nights.

Wavves premiere graphic new video for ‘That’s On Me’, file under: NSFW

June 19th 2013

Wavves have shared a brand new music video for ‘That’s on Me’ — it plays a lot like an IRL version of popular iPhone game ‘Fruit Ninja’, except knife king Lynn Thompson is in charge, and he soon tires of fruit, moving on to, well, a dead pig sporting a Wavves shirt. Oh, and there are cheerleaders. So I guess it’s not that much like ‘Fruit Ninja’ after all.
