You can now stream Polica’s brand new single ‘Chain My Name’… AND IT’S A FULL BLOWN POP JAM, YOU GUYS. The second taster of the band’s forthcoming new album ‘Shulamith’ (following the Justin Vernon-featuring ‘Tiff’ which dropped back around Coachella time), ‘Chain My Name’ is the most uptempo we’ve ever heard the Minneapolis collective, and it’s a relentlessly catchy four-minutes of synth-driven pop.
The single is available to purchase now on iTunes, and comes as an instant download with all pre-orders of the record. Head over to Polica’s official website to see all pre-order options, which include a limited-edition signed 24×24 lithograph commissioned by Polica themselves from Minneapolis artist Michael Gaughan, and a 12×9 32-page Shulamith book comprised of lyrics, handwritten notes from the band, and candid glimpses into the world of Polica as shot by frequent visual collaborator Cameron Wittig.

Even with an extensive European and North American tour and a full-length soon out, Poliça’s Channy still finds the time to work out some new melodies. This time she teams up with Chicago duo Supreme Cuts in their rolling house track, “Envision”—part of their upcoming record Divine Ecstasy. Hear the track underneath.

Polica have unveiled a pretty NSFW video for “Tiff”, the Justin Vernon-featuring first single from their forthcoming album ‘Shulamith’.
Directed by Nabil and Mike Piscitelli, Channy describes the video treatment for Tiff as “a portrait of a woman as her own worst enemy”.
