Watch Lucius’ new video for “Tempest”, ft. cheeseburgers and neon lipstick

November 12th 2013

Lucius this week unveiled the brand new video for “Tempest”, a stand-out track from the band’s debut album “Wildewoman”. Directed by Scott Cudmore (also responsible for Hunters’ “Narcissist” visual), the video navigates its way through a number of bizarre vignettes, and introduces some pretty wild(e) characters. Watch now, following the Wall Street Journal premiere on Monday.

Lucius will close out this year with two sold out dates at Bowery Ballroom, but if you missed out on a ticket you’re still in luck, the band have just announced their plans for a full US tour kicking off in January, the full itinerary can be found here, and tickets for all dates go on sale Friday.

In one last piece of Lucius news, the band were featured on this weekend’s NPR “All Things Considered”, listen back to Jess and Holly’s interview now.

Lucius debut album “Wildewoman” is out now, and for a limited time only is available to purchase for $5 through Amazon.

Hear Lucius perform “Turn It Around”, “Go Home”, and “How Loud Your Heart Gets” live for 88.1 KDHX.

In this intimate setting, all of the soulful riffs and deep harmonies become even more pronounced. The group leads things off with “Turn It Around,” a concise and playful track about losing control. They followed with the minimalist “Go Home,” which leaves the listener entranced in improvised slide guitar and haunting vocals. To close the set, the group ran through “How Loud Your Heart Gets,” a genre-spanning track that shows off their full range of tones.

Lucius’ debut album “Wildewoman” is out now, and is available for a limited time for only $5 on Amazon. Be quick, the offer only lasts until November 15!
