To celebrate the new record, Andrew announced a lengthy US tour this morning. But these aren’t your run of the mill tickets. Nope, every single one comes with music — even the ones you buy at the box office. That’s right, if you buy tickets to any of these dates you’ll receive a a live EP from Bird’s recent October run, a download of the new album the night before its release, and another souvenier live EP from the tour you see delivered in Spring. Head over to http://www.andrewbird.net for more details.
And while you’re over there, help Spread The Word with a tweet and get a free download of “Tables & Chairs” from the first live EP.
Big news. Andrew Bird’s NORMAN soundtrack is out now. The entire release — in its sprawlingly gorgeous, 17-track glory — is streaming over at AOL. The song “Hospital” is available as a free download on Mr. Bird’s website. Anyone that redeems the download (email required) will be signed up to get early info on the new Bird LP set for 2012.
