Andrew Bird Premieres ‘Hands of Glory’, Launches Fan-Focused Tour of South America

Today is a busy day for Andrew Bird.

This morning, the Guardian unveiled the exclusive first listen of his upcoming Hands of Glory, due next Tuesday, October 30th. Head over here to give it a listen. And don’t forget, you can still pre-order the album — which features old-timey material inspired by Andrew’s recent Break It Yourself tours — at http://www.andrewbird.net.

In other news, today Mr. Bird also announced a fairly unprecedented move. He’ll be crowd-sourcing his upcoming February tour of South America! Fans are able to decide which cities the tour will roll through, via pledges to attend in their market of choice. When six cities reach a specific threshold, the tour is all booked!
