Freelance Whales Unveil New Song, Set To Perform & Stream Diluvia Next Week

Freelance Whales are gearing up for the release of their sophomore LP Diluvia, out October 9th on Mom+Pop and Frenchkiss Records. To herald its coming, the band unveiled a new song this morning on Daily Candy. It’s called “Dig Into Waves.” Listen below. By now you’ve likely heard three tunes from the album — this Judah-led gem, the vintage Whales of “Locked Out” and the Doris-led soarer “Spitting Image.” Starting next week, you’ll be able to hear much more than that, when NPR premieres the album in its entirety.

And if hearing-what-an-album-sounds-like-live is just as important to you as hearing an album, you’re in luck. Why? The band will be performing the album front-to-back live from Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory on Monday, October 1st at 7:30pm. To watch, just head over to Livestream!
