This morning, Andrew Bird unveiled the first song from his forthcoming new album Break it Yourself. The track, “Eyeoneye,” was reviewed by Rolling Stone in its most recent issue, garnering a 4/5 in a write-up that led off with the words “Who pissed off Andrew Bird?” Hear the rousing number for yourself over at Pitchfork, or courtesy of Mr. Bird’s SoundCloud below.
Break It Yourself is out March 6th.
After Sleigh Bells wrap up their extensive Florida tour with Diplo and Brooklyn’s Liturgy, producer/guitarist Derek Miller and singer Alexis Krauss will be playing select North American shows around the release of Reign of Terror, due February 21st, 2012.

Australian duo An Horse are set to return to American shores this spring in continued support of their 2011 sophomore full-length, Walls. The three-week run, supporting Nada Surf, kicks off March 20 in Los Angeles and wraps April 10 in Washington DC. In addition the band have premiered another video — this one for Walls favorite “Airport Death” — via IFC.com. You can check it out above. The video was directed by Nina Stiefel, a recent graduate of the NYU Film School, and shot in Brooklyn, NY. Nada Surf dates below the fold.

Sleigh Bells will release their sophomore album, Reign of Terror, on February 14th, 2012. Yes, Valentine’s Day. Produced by guitarist Derek Miller, and written by Miller and singer Alexis Krauss, Reign of Terror is the follow up to 2010’s critically acclaimed Treats.
