Making it changed my life, both in the way it taught me to know myself and the people it brought deep into my heart that I will never let go of.”

Earlier last week SEB shared another video for standout track “3am in nyc,” stating that "'3am in nyc' serves as a snapshot of my time in NYC. Specifically those late nights, going out drinking and being on the train with my friends. At that time in my life, there was never anywhere I had to be, so every night was always an adventure: whether it was roaming the city, going out to bars or meeting new people in the most random places."

During that time, money was the focal point of everything, and more importantly what was I willing to do for it. The song starts with me screaming ‘get yo bread’ and by the end I'm right back where i started."

SEB has just shared his latest single and first formal follow up to August’s IT’S OKAY, WE’RE DREAMING II: don’t worry, i’ll be fine. “loving u is harder” taps deep into the R&B undercurrents of SEB’s work, laying melancholy staccato vocal lines across a soulful guitar loop. "'loving u is harder' is about feeling blindsided by who someone actually is after falling in love with them,” states SEB. “The song also touches on the complicated dynamic of feeling dependent on someone despite knowing they aren't good for you."
Tegan and Sara have shared another new track from their forthcoming 10th studio album, Crybaby, due Oct. 21. “I Can’t Grow Up” is a self-described “snotty nosed pop song about not being able to grow out of bad habits in relationships.” The official video, directed by Mark Myers, matches the song’s playfulness and the duo’s charisma.
Ashe releases her newest track “Love is Letting Go” - featuring Academy Award-winning actress Diane Keaton - available everywhere. The song is taken from Ashe’s forthcoming sophomore album Rae, out on October 14th.
“Love is Letting Go” is a tender ballad Ashe penned about losing her brother to addiction. After reading Diane Keaton’s memoir “Brother & Sister” and learning that she too lost her brother, Ashe invited her to sing on the track. The elegant, and heartfelt track features both their voices blending together beautifully over a soft acoustic guitar. While Diane Keaton’s soulful vocals have been captured on screen in movies from Annie Hall to And So It Goes - as well as a legendary musical performance on Johnny Carson Show’ Tonight Show in 1973 - she has never released any recordings. As a fan of Diane’s work, Ashe was well aware of her favorite actress’ vocal prowess and the idea to ask her to collaborate seemed both obvious and fantastical.
California-based, RIAA Platinum-certified singer-songwriter Ashe releases her new single and accompanying video, “Emotional” - available everywhere. The song is taken from her highly-anticipated forthcoming sophomore album Rae, out on October 14th.

California-based, RIAA Platinum-certified singer-songwriter Ashe reveals her brand new song, and accompanying video, “Shower With My Clothes On” - available everywhere. The song is taken from her highly-anticipated forthcoming sophomore album Rae, out on October 14th.
On the new track, Ashe shares, “Shower With My Clothes On” is what my head feels like when it’s spinning; out of control anxiety and the world feeling like it’s closing in on you. It’s about remembering those last few moments in a relationship when you’re hopelessly hanging on but know you have to let go.”
Rising LA-based artist and producer SEB has shared a cover of Chance the Rapper and Nosaj Thing’s classic “Paranoia” (from Chance’s seminal Acid Rap release) as part of Apple Music’s special 2022 Juneteenth initiative, a collection of exclusively-commissioned songs from artists that celebrate the continued and invaluable contribution of Black artistry to contemporary music.
Beach Bunny, the musical project of Lili Trifilio, releases her bombastic indie-pop anthem “Entropy.” The song, off Emotional Creature (7/22), is embroidered with guitar riffs that channel Trifilio’s favorite formative post-Y2K pop icons like Kelly Clarkson and the Jonas Brothers, with an explosively defiant chorus. The video finds Trifilio and the band back in space, continuing part two of three on their Star Wars meets Star Trek galactic adventure. It follows the Bob Odenkirk-starring video for “Karaoke” as well as her Coachella and Primavera Sound debuts.
